The fixed lump-sum subcontract is valued at RM82.124 million and is scheduled to be delivered over 22 months, subject to the terms of the subcontract.

The project forms part of a Malaysian Government development initiative within the education sector, implemented through Jabatan Kerja Raya (“JKR”). JKR is the employer under the main contract, while Purnama Base is the main contractor pursuant to a main contract with JKR dated 30 December 2025. Purnama Base has appointed Citaglobal Land as the subcontractor to undertake the design, construction and completion of the works.

The new residential college will support the accommodation needs of Institut Pendidikan Guru Kampus Bahasa Melayu, an institution dedicated to the training and development of teachers. The award adds to Citaglobal Land’s track record in public sector infrastructure works and draws on the Group’s combined design, engineering and construction delivery capabilities.

Following the acceptance of the subcontract, Citaglobal’s outstanding proforma order book stands at approximately RM 1.5 billion as at 30 June 2026. The subcontract is expected to contribute positively to the Group’s earnings, earnings per share and net assets over the contract period.

Commenting on the award, Mr. Aimi Aizal Nasharuddin, Executive Director & Group Chief Operating Officer, Citaglobal Berhad, said,

“Education infrastructure shapes the environment in which our teachers are trained, and we take seriously the responsibility of building a facility that the institute and its residents will rely on for many years.

“This award adds to our secured order book and gives us a clear body of work to deliver over the next two years. Our focus is on execution, delivering safely, responsibly and to the standards expected of us.”

Mr. Azly Abdul Kadir, Chief Executive Officer of Citaglobal Land Sdn. Bhd., added,

“A design-and-build scope demands close coordination between design, engineering, and construction from the outset. We will work closely with Purnama Base and the relevant stakeholders to deliver the project according to schedule and to the required quality, while creating a residential environment that genuinely works for the institute.”

The award complements Citaglobal’s broader portfolio of infrastructure projects across civil engineering and construction, green energy, waste and environmental management, and digital connectivity. The Group remains focused on disciplined project delivery and the timely conversion of secured work into revenue, earnings and cash flow.
