SSF Home Group Berhad (“SSF” or the “Group”), a well-known retailer in furniture, home décor, and home living products, is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (“MOU”) with Rumah Ibu Sdn Bhd (“Rumah Ibu”) to collaborate on Rumah Ibu Scheme, a home ownership scheme offered by Rumah Ibu (“Scheme”). As part of this Rumah Ibu Scheme, Rumah Ibu intends to offer at least 35,000 land owners at the Rancangan Perkampungan Tersusun (RPT) Negeri Perak. The MOU signing will be followed by a groundbreaking ceremony to mark the commencement of Rumah Ibu Scheme.
Under this collaboration, SSF will serve as the exclusive supplier of kitchen cabinets and furniture vouchers for new Rumah Ibu buyers under Rumah Ibu Scheme. This initiative ensures that new Rumah Ibu buyers have access to high-quality, functional, and aesthetically appealing home furnishing solutions. Depending on the model of Rumah Ibu, SSF will provide kitchen cabinets valued between RM1,500 and RM5,000, alongside furniture vouchers worth up to RM5,500, offering flexibility and affordability to Rumah Ibu buyers.
As part of the understanding, Rumah Ibu Sdn Bhd will procure these furnishing solutions directly from SSF, with payments made upon successful delivery and installation. These purchases will be incorporated into the total Rumah Ibu sales package, ensuring Rumah Ibu buyers receive a seamless home ownership experience without the need for additional upfront furniture expenses.
The initiative aligns with SSF Home’s commitment to making home living solutions accessible to a wider community while supporting government efforts to enhance Rumah Ibu buyers’ opportunities. By working together with Rumah Ibu Sdn Bhd and the State Government of Perak, the Group aims to extend its reach in the affordable housing segment, helping Rumah Ibu buyers create comfortable and well-furnished living spaces.
