MN Holdings Berhad (“MN Holdings” or the “Group”), a leading infrastructure utilities construction and engineering solutions specialist in Malaysia, is pleased to announce that the Group has secured a RM168.9 million project, marking the Group’s first project from an international data centre operator. This milestone underscores MN Holdings’ ability to deliver power infrastructure solutions that meet international standards.

The contract, awarded for the engineering, procurement and construction (“EPC”) of a 275/33kV substation project, will contribute positively to MN Holdings’ financial performance and further solidify its presence in Malaysia’s power infrastructure sector. The project is scheduled to commence in March 2025 and is expected to be completed by March 2026.

Dato’ Clement Toh, Managing Director of MN Holdings said, “This award represents a significant step for MN Holdings as we secure our first project with an US-based international data centre operator. It reflects the confidence of global players in our capabilities and underscores our commitment to delivering reliable power infrastructure solutions.”

He added, “Looking ahead, we see strong momentum in Malaysia’s energy and utilities sector, driven by initiatives such as the LSS5 and LSS5+ programmes, Regulatory Period 4’s (“RP4”) RM20 billion allowed operating expenditure (“OPEX”) for grid enhancement, and the RM10 billion AIR2040 water infrastructure agenda. With a growing order book, we are well-positioned to support these developments and are open to exploring opportunities in East Malaysia as part of our long-term growth strategy.”

With this latest contract win, MN Holdings’ order book now stands at RM892.4 million, reinforcing its growth trajectory in the infrastructure and utilities segment. The Group remains committed to supporting Malaysia’s ambitions to become a premier data centre hub while driving sustainable long-term value for its stakeholders.
