Tex Cycle Technology (M) Berhad (“Tex Cycle” or the “Group”), an established waste management and recycling solutions provider, through its wholly owned subsidiary Tex Cycle (P2) Sdn. Bhd., has entered into a strategic collaboration agreement with Barium Selat Technologies Sdn. Bhd., a subsidiary of Barium Selat Sdn. Bhd. (“Barium Selat”), to jointly explore opportunities in the oil and gas industry and expand waste management capabilities.
This technical collaboration aims to leverage both parties’ operational strengths, technical expertise, and industry networks. Under this partnership, Tex Cycle and Barium Selat will work together to optimise waste recovery and treatment processes, develop industry-focused solutions, and expand service offerings across multiple sectors, including oil & gas, energy, and industrial manufacturing.
The collaboration will also allow Tex Cycle to tap into Barium Selat’s innovation-driven business in upstream oil and gas, particularly in the production of drilling lubricants and advanced chemical materials. Meanwhile, Barium Selat will benefit from the Group’s licensed recovery infrastructure and waste processing capabilities, especially in scheduled waste handling, environmental compliance, and recycling.
Barium Selat is a Malaysian company primarily focus on providing value added services to the upstream oil and gas industry. The Company through its technology subsidiaries specialises in research and development of advanced materials, chemical additives, sustainable aviation fuel (“SAF”), drilling lubricants, and specialty advanced process equipment. Since its establishment in 2015, Barium Selat has built a strong reputation for developing sustainable and innovative solutions tailored to the energy sector.
