Kuala Lumpur, 12 January 2026 — AmanahRaya-Kenedix REIT Manager Sdn. Bhd., the Manager of AmanahRaya Real Estate Investment Trust (“AmanahRaya REIT”) wishes to provide an update following an incident that occurred earlier today at the canteen area of HELP University, located at Jalan Semantan, Bukit Damansara, one of the assets within AmanahRaya REIT’s portfolio.
The incident resulted in one (1) casualty and injuries to nine (9) individuals including maintenance technicians, staff, canteen workers and students, subject to verification and confirmation by various authorities.
The canteen area affected by the incident was evacuated, and access has remained restricted as a precautionary measure. AmanahRaya REIT is working on appointing independent assessors to conduct a comprehensive assessment of the incident and the surrounding structures.
AmanahRaya REIT is rendering aid and providing support to HELP University during this difficult time. The Manager is working closely with the relevant authorities, including the police departments and emergency services, and reaffirms its full commitment to cooperate fully and comply with all requirements and directives as investigations continue.
