In an age where concrete jungles dominate and digital screens often replace outdoor experiences, reconnecting with nature has never been more important. For Futuromic Photo AV, this belief goes beyond business; it is woven into the very fabric of how the company gives back.
This year, in line with its Corporate Social Responsibility (“CSR”) and Environmental, Social and Governance (“ESG”) direction, Futuromic joined hands with Genting Nature Adventure (“GNA”) to support a meaningful eco-tourism initiative in Genting Highlands that not only champions environmental preservation, but also brings people closer to the stories that live within Malaysia’s natural landscapes.
Growing With Every Tree
The journey began with a tree planting activity, a simple, grounding act that speaks volumes. On 6 December 2025, Futuromic supported the sustainable planting of 300 trees along the trails of Genting Highlands, as part of the “VERGES” resort-wide SD/ESG-related Sustainable Resort-wide Initiative (“SRI”) designed to restore Functional Living Habitats (FLH) for Siamangs, Monkeys and Birds (SMB).
This effort was carried out under the Pine Forest (Plot A) project, supporting a landscape that blends naturally into its surroundings, described as a mixed primary–secondary forest-garden habitat. For every tree planted and every hand that reached into the soil, the message was clear: sustainability is a shared responsibility.
It was a small moment, but a meaningful one. A reminder that growth, like trees, takes root when nurtured with intention.
Nature, One Story at a Time
From there, the group set off on a mile-long trail walk curated by GNA. Along the path, boards told stories of the land, the wildlife, and the history that has shaped this lush part of Malaysia. It wasn’t just a walk; it was an immersive experience that combined education, reflection, and admiration for the environment.
In line with the VERGES approach, the planting scheme is designed for continuity, with “continuous add-ons” that support long-term habitat development, using a mix of “role-playing” tree and plant species to encourage a natural harmony where ecosystems can co-exist. More importantly, this initiative was framed around conservation, preservation, sustainability, and education—turning the outdoors into a living classroom and a shared responsibility.
This initiative brought together what Futuromic believes in: inspiring connection. It allowed everyone to slow down, take in the details, and feel the heartbeat of Genting Highlands, one step at a time.
Capturing the Unseen: Powered by GIVING FRAMES
With a legacy rooted in imaging and storytelling, Futuromic also saw an opportunity to amplify the impact through its GIVING FRAMES initiative. The company loaned professional camera and filming equipment to GNA, enabling the documentation of wildlife and forest habitats that often go unseen.
Through this effort, rare glimpses of flora and fauna were captured, not just to preserve them, but to share their stories. These visuals will now form part of GNA’s outreach efforts, celebrating biodiversity in Malaysia’s forests and encouraging conservation through the lens of storytelling.
GIVING FRAMES, Futuromic’s dedicated social impact programme, aims to empower local communities, organisations, and changemakers by providing access to professional imaging tools. This Genting Highlands initiative marks another milestone in that journey, using visual storytelling to protect what matters most.
