Betamek Berhad (“Betamek” or the “Company“), an Original Design Manufacturer (“ODM“) and a leading player in electronics components manufacturing for the automotive and industrial sector, today announced the soft launch of Betamek Sanshin (M) Sdn. Bhd. (“Sanshin“), a subsidiary of Betamek Berhad, marking another milestone in the Group’s strategic journey to strengthen its capabilities and expand its presence in regional and international markets. The launching was officiated by Encik Mirzan bin Mahathir, Managing Director of Betamek and Mr. Su Jun, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Shenzhen Zhonghong Technology Co. Ltd..

The launch reflects Betamek’s commitment to strengthening customer engagement and advancing its growth ambitions. As Malaysia continues to attract increasing interest from companies seeking to establish a presence in Southeast Asia, Sanshin positions the Group to deepen relationships with customers and partners while actively pursuing new business opportunities and strategic collaborations across the region.
Importantly, Sanshin is equipped with both a Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse (“LMW”) and International Procurement Centre (“IPC”) status, providing Betamek with a distinct advantage in supporting customers with cross-border manufacturing, sourcing and regional distribution requirements. These capabilities enable the Group to facilitate efficient import and export processes, enhance supply chain flexibility and support companies looking to establish or expand their presence in Malaysia and across ASEAN.
Encik Muhammad Fauzi bin Abd Ghani, Executive Director of Betamek, said, “The launch of Sanshin represents an important step in strengthening how we engage with customers, business partners and international visitors. With LMW and IPC capabilities in place, we are well-positioned to support companies that require efficient cross-border manufacturing, procurement and regional distribution solutions. As more businesses look to Malaysia as a gateway to ASEAN, Sanshin provides a strong platform for us to facilitate meaningful discussions, drive operational collaboration and build long-term partnerships.”
Moving forward, Betamek will continue to strengthen its operational capabilities and customer engagement initiatives while exploring opportunities to support regional business development and cross-border partnerships.
