GTA Holdings Berhad (“GTA” or the “Company”), an investment holding company whose subsidiary is principally involved in the provision of aviation maintenance, repair and overhaul (“MRO”) related services specialising in helicopter and fixed-wing engines, their parts and components, today announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Global Turbine Asia Sdn. Bhd. (“Global Turbine”), formalised the extension of a long-term engine support agreement with Gading Kasturi Sdn. Bhd. (“GKSB”), through the exchange of documents during the GTA Customer Symposium 2026.

The document exchange marks the execution of Amendment No. 02 to the existing Support By The Hour (“SBH”) Agreement for Safran Helicopter Engines Arrius 2F-powered Airbus EC120B helicopters. The amendment extends the duration of the SBH agreement until 30 September 2028, reflecting the continued collaboration between both organisations in supporting aviation training operations in Malaysia.
Under the SBH agreement, Global Turbine provides comprehensive engine maintenance support solutions covering engine maintenance, standard exchange support, spare parts support and related services designed to enhance fleet availability and operational reliability. The programme currently supports five EC120B helicopters operated by GKSB for training purposes.
The extension reflects GTA’s continued emphasis on strengthening customer relationships through long-term support programmes that enhance fleet availability and maintenance planning, while providing customers with access to specialised aviation support capabilities
Dato’ Nonee Ashirin Dato Mohd Radzi, Managing Director / Chief Executive Officer of GTA, said, “The GTA Customer Symposium reflects our commitment to fostering closer collaboration across the aviation ecosystem. Beyond showcasing technical capabilities and industry developments, it provides a platform for meaningful engagement with customers, OEM partners and stakeholders who share a common objective of strengthening aviation readiness and building a more resilient aerospace industry. The document exchange with GKSB during the symposium underscores the importance of long-term industry partnerships in supporting the sustainable growth of the sector.”
The document exchange was one of the highlights of the GTA Customer Symposium 2026, a flagship customer engagement platform that brought together aviation operators, OEM representatives, industry partners and key stakeholders from across the region. Held under the theme “Engineered By Trust”, the symposium featured discussions on aviation readiness, fleet sustainment, technical capability development and the evolving needs of the aerospace industry, while providing opportunities for industry collaboration and knowledge sharing.
The symposium also reinforced GTA’s commitment to supporting the continued development of Malaysia’s aviation and aerospace ecosystem through capability enhancement, industry engagement and the strengthening of long-term partnerships across the value chain.
