iCents Group Holdings Berhad (“iCents” or the “Group”), a specialist in the design, engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC), qualification and validation of cleanrooms, and the manufacture of cleanroom fixtures and related products, has accepted a Letter of Award (“LOA”) from a Malaysian subsidiary of a US-based company to undertake engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (“EPCC”) works for the turnkey development of a semiconductor wafer processing facility in Selangor, with a total potential project value of RM36.15 million.

The semiconductor wafer processing facility development is planned to be undertaken across four phases, with the current LOA covering two stages of works under Phase 1, carrying a total potential contract value of RM36.15 million. Stage 1, valued at RM21.05 million, has been formally awarded to VC Engineering, while Stage 2, valued at RM15.01 million, has its scope of works identified under the LOA and remains subject to a subsequent written award notice from the employer. Both values are exclusive of Sales and Service Tax (“SST”).
The project further strengthens iCents’ presence within the semiconductor industry, leveraging the Group’s integrated engineering and construction capabilities to support the development of advanced manufacturing facilities. The award also reflects the Group’s ability to undertake specialised projects that require coordinated engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning expertise.
Ir. Ts. Vincent Ong Mum Fei, Managing Director of iCents Group Holdings Berhad said, “This contract represents another meaningful step in strengthening our participation within the semiconductor industry. As semiconductor manufacturers continue to invest in advanced manufacturing capabilities and supporting infrastructure, we see opportunities for specialised engineering and facility solutions. The award reflects our capabilities in delivering integrated EPCC solutions, and we remain focused on building our track record in supporting the evolving requirements of high-technology industries.”
Mr. Foo Siang Leng, Executive Director of iCents Group Holdings Berhad added, “The turnkey nature of this project allows us to leverage our integrated project delivery capabilities, from engineering and procurement through to construction and commissioning. Our immediate priority is to ensure the efficient execution of the awarded works while maintaining the quality, technical standards and cost discipline expected by our customers. We will continue to strengthen our operational capabilities to support increasingly sophisticated industrial and manufacturing developments.”
The project is expected to contribute positively to the Group’s net assets and earnings per share for the financial year ending 30 June 2027 until its completion.
Looking ahead, iCents remains focused on strengthening its position in high-specification industries, particularly semiconductors, data centres, pharmaceuticals and advanced manufacturing. Supported by its cleanroom engineering expertise, manufacturing capabilities and comprehensive facility solutions, the Group will continue to pursue opportunities in Malaysia and selectively expand its regional presence in Thailand and Indonesia, while maintaining a disciplined approach towards project execution and cost management.
