Globetronics Technology Bhd (“GTB” or the “Group”), an established player in the Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test (“OSAT”) and semiconductor industry, today announced its unaudited financial results for the fourth quarter ended 30 June 2026 (“Q4 FY2026”). The Group recorded revenue of RM21.0 million, representing an increase of 24% from RM16.9 million in the immediate preceding quarter (“Q3 FY2026”).

The higher revenue recorded during Q4 FY2026 was supported by increased contributions from the Group’s manufacturing and chemical activities. Correspondingly, gross profit increased by 206% to RM4.1 million from RM1.3 million in Q3 FY2026, while gross profit margin improved to 19.6% from 8.0%, reflecting the higher revenue contribution during the quarter.

Loss before tax (“LBT”) stood at RM28.54 million compared to RM13.47 million in the immediate preceding quarter, while loss after tax (“LAT”) was RM27.33 million compared to RM13.64 million previously. According to the Group, the higher loss was due to impairment on preference shares and financial assets compared to the immediate preceding quarter.
For the 12-month financial year ended 30 June 2026 (“FY2026”), the Group recorded revenue of RM80.4 million and gross profit of RM13.4 million. GTB recorded a LAT of RM56.4 million for FY2026, with the full-year performance impacted by lower customer loadings as well as expenses incurred during the financial year, including impairment on preference shares, share-based payments and the Group’s share of losses from its associate.
The Management of GTB said, “While the overall operating environment remained challenging throughout FY2026, we are encouraged by the sequential improvement in revenue and gross profit recorded during the fourth quarter, supported by higher manufacturing contributions and disciplined cost management. Looking ahead, we remain focused on strengthening Globetronics’ capabilities, pursuing new customer and product opportunities, and advancing our strategic investments and collaborations to build a broader foundation for sustainable growth and reinforce the Group’s position within the semiconductor value chain.”
As at 30 June 2026, the Group’s total assets stood at RM262.5 million, while total equity attributable to owners of the Company amounted to RM238.8 million. During FY2026, the Group invested RM24.3 million in property, plant and equipment to support its manufacturing and technological capabilities.
